Rates
AH Administration’s standard rate is £20 per hour.
A minimum charge of 1 hour will apply. Thereafter time is charged in 15 minute increments. VAT is not charged.
Audio transcription is charged at £1.25 per audio minute for good quality recordings on digital audio formats. Higher rates may apply for poor sound recordings.
Increased rates may apply if work is required outside normal working hours (9am—5pm, Monday to Friday, excluding Public Holidays).
Changes to the original brief may result in a delay to the delivery or incur additional charges. Although we will do our best to avoid this, any anticipated delays or additional costs will be advised at the time the changes are requested.
Payment terms Payment is due 14 days from date of invoice unless otherwise stated. Preferred payment method is bank transfer (BACS).
A deposit may be required in advance from new clients and individuals.
Expenses Additional expenses such as telephone calls, postage and stationery are charged at cost. There may also be additional costs for printing.
Visits to the client’s premises to discuss projects, or to collect or deliver work is charged at £0.45 per mile. Unfortunately we are not able to accommodate visitors to our own premises.
Bookings We take bookings by telephone, e-mail or mail. Following the initial request we will confirm the work to be completed in writing with an estimate of the cost and delivery date. Work will commence once the client has approved the estimate and forwarded any required deposit.
Confidentiality All work is undertaken in the strictest confidence. We will not disclose any client details or business data to a third party without the client’s consent. A confidentiality agreement is available on request.
Delivery formats and storage We use Microsoft Office Professional 2007 and therefore projects are normally undertaken using one of the following packages:

Please advise if you have any software compatibility concerns so we may carry out a test by e-mailing a sample document.
Completed projects will be backed up on hard disk and retained on file for one month following the client’s acceptance of the work, unless otherwise agreed. After this time files may be erased. The client should therefore ensure all completed projects are saved and backed up locally. We cannot be held responsible for loss of projects after one month.
Limitation of liability Although AH Administration endeavours to complete all work to the highest standard, final proofreading of all completed work is the responsibility of the client.
The client should notify us of any errors as soon as possible so that we may rectify them free of charge. We cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage caused by errors which were not brought to our attention before publication.
AH Administration holds public liability and professional indemnity insurance. |
